Why is my house not selling? !!!

Why is my house not selling ? !!! Inexpensive tips to make your home more sellable.

Over Pricing your home  is probably the most important reason why your home is not selling.
However, price is not the only reason that makes buyers move onto the next home.
Any time buyers see homes with rooms, closets or garages filled with extra furniture, accessories, boxes and clutter, they will view this home as having potential storage issues. This is why I highly recommend cleanning and de-cluttering !!!  Have a garage sale, donate items or rent a storage unit.

Make your home more Sellable:
  • Remove clutter by storing items in basement, attic or rent a storage.
  • Replaced any burnt-out bulbs and use higher wattage bulbs.
  • Brighten each room. Make sure skylights are clear and keep drapes open during showings.
  • Stage your home. Get some fresh flowers and other accessories to liven up the home. Dispose of old furniture or large items. Consider renting furniture or hiring a staging consultant.
  • Check for odors, refresh carpets.
  • Remove personal items from bathroom counters (store them underneath sink) and put toilet seats down.
A clutter home appears small and dirty. Make certain all clutter is cleaned up on the inside and outside of the home. Rearrange furniture or remove furniture in order to make the home feel less cramed.

These are the most inexpensive actions that will add value to your home and will make your home more appealing to prospective buyers.
